Introduction

Hi my name is Lily Tran, I designed this web blog specifically to state my views, knowledge, research and experiences on network marketing to educate people as much as possible so they can gain new ideas and insights as to how they can make this industry work for them.

From my personal experience of joining a network marketing company it was quite a venture, I was studying Human resources and Business Law. I had no job, no stable income and I was frightened that by the time I graduate I will have nothing unique to put in my resume, I was going to be some graduate with a degree and no job. The recession has hit many of us very hard, people are losing jobs and finding it very difficult to re-enter into the workforce due to the rising competition and limited job opportunities. My long-term goal is to open up my own business in Training & Development and to do this I needed the opportunity to learn. One day I was having a talk to one of my close friends and he said to me "Lily what have you been up to" and I replied "You know I'm studying and looking for a job" and he said "I am working for a network marketing company, I would really like you to come to the business meeting and see if you are interested, I want you to be part of my team."

As I entered the office I was very suprised by how relaxed people were, it was a very friendly environment, the people are very social and helpful because they all work as a team to achieve a common purpose. I joined the company straight away with my share of investments, even though I had my doubts, I believe I have a potential in this business, I am driven by the power to be my own boss, and the power to use the discipline I have learned in my education and applying it. I saw a window of opportunity, the challenges you face will give you the ability to develop more knowledge and practical skills to building your own successful business. Although you may not be interested in network marketing, it could be a stepping stone towards your success for something else.

After the meeting I went home and I was very excited and decided to go on google 'oooh no what did I get myself into' I thought. I researched all these negativities about the industry, articles about scamming, horrible experiences and pyramid schemes, I felt like cursing my friend but as I continue to learn more about network marketing I realise that it is not for everyone, people need to be dedicated to be successful in this business like any other business, for example you need to study hard to pass an exam.

Alot of celebrities and other businesses get criticised and ridiculed by the media, in the global society we live in today, their is negativity in almost everything. The most important thing is to be your own critique, what do you believe? We should always trust in ourselves because we may never know the real truth. I hope more and more people begin to understand the potential in network marketing because Donald Trump surely has, he has recently proposed the Trump network which is going to be very exciting.

I would also love to thank my supportive co-workers/friends for supporting me, I have learned alot from them. I can assure you guys that in this business you are never alone, success is there if you really want it and you will learn something that universities will never teach you "how to run and build a successful business" They will tell you how to be a professional doctor, lawyer, vet, psychologist etc, but do they ever tell you how you will make big bucks from this. To develop the skills and knowledge to build a successful business you need to find the opportunity to learn it.
